Kevin Hart Age in 2026: Height, Career, Family, and Facts

Kevin Hart has been a popular figure in the world of stand-up comedy and Hollywood for over two decades, and queries about his age, height, and personal life frequently arise -partially because he jokes about the former two on stage. Here’s a clean, precise look at where all this is in 2026.

Kevin Hart age: How Old Is Kevin Hart?

Kevin Hart was born on July 6, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That makes him 47 years old as of September 2026, having celebrated his birthday earlier this year.

If you’re reading this after July 2027, add a year -his birthday resets the count every July 6.

How Tall Is Kevin Hart? (Height in Feet)

This is probably one of the most common questions about Hart, and it’s not without good reason –his height has become an inseparable part of his comic persona. Hart is 5 feet 4 inches (163 centimeters) tall.

Hart has addressed his height in virtually every stand-up special he’s done, using it as a vehicle for discussing confidence, relationships, and overall perceptions of himself in society. He doesn’t try to hide his height –he uses it as a way to connect to his audience, which is why I think people continue to ask about it over and over again. It’s worth noting that there are a variety of numbers when it comes to celebrity height –some might say 5’2 or 5’5”, but 5’4 ” is the number he’s used himself.

From Philadelphia Comedy Clubs to Global Stardom

Contrary to popular belief, Kevin Hart did not find success right away. In fact, he struggled for years, spending the late 1990s and early 2000s performing at open mics in Philadelphia. Hart was largely raised by his mother, Nancy Hart, with his father being addicted to drugs. He often reiterates his troubled childhood and the problems he had growing up in the papers. This partly explains why his early career was filled with crude, self-deprecating jokes. There were very few observational comedians in him. Instead, he draws heavily from his life to make his jokes.

Hart’s first significant television role was on the Judd Apatow-produced comedy-horror Undeclared that aired early in the 2000s. After that, he had several small film roles, including Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, and Soul Plane, before finding success with stand-up comedy.

The Stand-Up Comedy Hustle

What makes Hart different from many other actor-comedian performers is that stand-up comedy never took a backseat to film work -it has been a major part of his career, even at the height of his movie stardom.

He broke out in the traditional way for stand-up comedians, by putting out comedy albums and specials that slowly built his audience before he became a box-office draw.

Kevin Hart Stand-Up List

The following is a chronological list of his comedic stand-up special releases:

• I’m a Grown Little Man (2009)
• Seriously Funny (2010)
• Laugh at My Pain (2011) -the special that catapulted him to mainstream success.
• Let Me Explain (2013)
• What Now? (2016) -filmed live in front of a stadium-sized audience, later released on Netflix
• Irresponsible (2019) -his first Netflix special, which focused on his cheating scandal and subsequent second marriage
• Zero Fks Given (2021) -filmed at home during the Covid-19 pandemic
• Acting My Age (2026) -his fifth Netflix special, filmed at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florida, which deals with his forties and family.

This is the list of his stand-up special releases, spanning almost seventeen years, which demonstrates his gradual transition from an independent comedian who performs at small venues to a mainstream superstar who films his material in front of a stadium audience and utilizes streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. A special note must be made that some of his special releases are included in the documentary Kevin Hart & Chris Rock: Headliners Only (2023), which chronicles his and Chris Rock’s collaboration on a tour, but they do not represent his stand-up performances.

Kevin Hart’s Film and TV Career

Hart’s filmography covers a wide range of genres from comedy and action to drama:

Kevin Hart’s Family Life

Hart’s personal life has often intersected with his comedy material, particularly around marriage, parenting, and past mistakes.

Marriages:

• Torrei Hart (married 2003–2011) -his first wife, with whom he shares two children
• Eniko Parrish (married 2016–present) -his current wife

Children:

• Heaven Hart -daughter with Torrei
• Hendrix Hart -son with Torrei
• Kenzo Kash Hart -son with Eniko, born 2017
• Kaori Mai Hart -daughter with Eniko, born 2020

Hart has been notably candid about infidelity during his second marriage, using Irresponsible as a vehicle to address it directly rather than avoid the topic. That willingness to turn personal missteps into material -without either glossing over them or wallowing in them -is a big part of what’s kept his stand-up feeling grounded rather than performative, even as his fame has scaled up.

How Kevin Hart’s Age Shows Up in His Comedy

One of the aspects that immediately becomes apparent while watching Hart’s work in chronological order is that his humor has evolved with him, making it possible to observe the kinds of experiences and reflections he engages with at various points in his life. It is possible to see how his early material was centered around youthful energies, ranging from work ethic to the dramas of one’s early adult life, while his later performances -namely, Zero Fks Given and Acting My Age -focus more on his family life, advancing age, and related themes.

This development is significant in terms of differentiating Hart from some of his peers, as well as understanding why the questions of “Kevin Hart age” are so prevalent on the web. Namely, he has embraced his status as a dated icon who actively comments on his own aging, contrasting with some other comedians who either remain young or attempt to reboot their image every few years. As such, an inquisitive viewer who wants to familiarize themselves with Hart’s work and better understand his current philosophy will find later material to be more relevant and engaging than his early-career performances.

A Few Things to Verify If You’re Writing About Him

Public figure details shift regularly, so if you’re using this information for something time-sensitive (an event listing, a profile update, or similar), it’s worth double-checking a few specifics closer to publication:

• His exact age will change again after July 6 of any given year.
• Net worth figures fluctuate significantly across sources and are rarely verified with hard numbers.
• Family details (number of children, marital status) are the most likely to change over time for any public figure.

The Bottom Line
